Dennis Booth
NAEDA Chairman, 2007

The 2009 Alumni Reunion was held in St. Louis, Mo., in September immediately following the NAEDA board of directors' meeting. The meeting format provided participants the opportunity to join the NAEDA board of directors for a reception and dinner, to renew friendships and acquaintances, enjoy some camaraderie, and catch up on what’s going on at NAEDA and in the industry.

2007 Alumni Reunion Co-Chairs:

 John Fleet
NAEDA Chairman, 2004
James Meinhardt
NAEDA Chairman, 2005

NAEDA hosted the first Alumni Reunion in Williamsburg, Va., in October 2007.  Past chairmen John Fleet and Jim Meinhardt co-chaired the event in hopes of forming an alumni group that would meet periodically at a mutually agreeable location to foster a spirit of loyalty and promote the general welfare of NAEDA.

The event was well attended by past directors and past officers. Alumni and spouses/guests were briefed about current NAEDA board operations, financial viability of the organization, and organizational priorities, including manufacturer relations, government relations and workforce development. It was a perfect opportunity to socialize with old friends, make new acquaintances and share stories about the past and present. The group decided to hold a similar event approximately every two years.
