America goes it alone on high corporate taxes

In an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal, Mieko Nakabayashi, a former member of the Japanese Diet, and James Carter, an official in George W. Bush’s Administration, argue that the US’ high corporate tax rate is harming the national economy. They note that the rate is the highest in the industrialized world, and add that even the Japanese have reformed their tax structure.
