Canada’s Supreme Court looks at Senate’s future

While the government has asked the Supreme Court to rule on the constitutionality of reforming the Senate, the Upper Chamber’s reputation is under fresh national attack following the criminal charges laid against former Conservative Senator Patrick Brazeau last week and news reports that two other Senators are skirting residency requirements for monetary gain.
