Mission Statement
Committed to building the best business environment for North American equipment dealers.
History
The North American Equipment Dealers Association (NAEDA) was founded September 21, 1900. Founded as the National Federation of Retail Implement & Vehicle Dealers' Association, the association was organized as a result of dealer protests regarding the marketing practices of manufacturers of harvesting equipment.
Although state and regional dealer associations pre-dated NAEDA, dealers believed they would be more effective as a group if their concerns were expressed through a national office.
Today, NAEDA is affiliated with 18 state, regional and provincial associations. Of the 18 affiliates, three are in Canada. Together, NAEDA and its affiliates provide a variety of educational, financial and legislative services to equipment dealers in the United States and Canada.
