Action Alert: Accelerated Depreciation - NAEDA, its affiliated associations and other trade industry organizations have been lobbying both the House and the Senate for sponsorship of legislation that would change IRS rules related to depreciation of farm and ranch equipment and machinery. Your support and letters are now needed more than ever.

The Senate, in passage of its version of the 2007 farm bill, has included language that would make this depreciation change. It is important now for dealers to contact both your representative and senators to ask them to support this language change as the farm bill moves to conference committee in January. To do your part, please click on the House and Senate letter links below and complete the required fields and a letter will be sent on your behalf to your specific congressional representative and senators.
