NAEDA 20 Groups Program | Safety/Risk Management Program
The North American Equipment Dealers Association strongly supports life-long learning for dealers and various
programs are available for this purpose. NAEDA's education services include the NAEDA 20 Groups Program and the Safety/Risk Management Program.
NAEDA 20 Groups Program: Dealers who participate in the NAEDA 20 Groups Program control the agendas of their meetings. A facilitator also is in attendance to help keep the meetings on course and topical. During 20 Group meetings, dealers:
- compare financial data, using financial composites specifically designed for the equipment industry,
- review and discuss what each group member is doing to improve dealership, management and operational performance and how results are measured and achieved,
- exchange ideas and share profit-improvement strategies,
- receive support, encouragement and motivation from group members, and
- focus on and discuss specific industry topics and issues.
Currie Management Consultants (CMC) works with the association in the administration of the NAEDA 20 Groups Program and facilitates program meetings. CMC is one of the industry's most highly regarded organizations serving the professional needs of equipment dealers. CMC also facilitates meetings that include dealership department managers and staff, such as parts, service or sales personnel.
The NAEDA 20 Groups Program is a proven tool to help dealers:
- Profitability - You will boost your bottom line.
- Financial performance with data reviews - You will find and fill in the gaps.

Safety & Risk Management: Another component of NAEDA's dealer education effort is the relationship between the association and Federated
Insurance Companies in the United States and Canada.
As a result of this long-term partnership, NAEDA members have access to experts who work with dealers in handling
their insurance needs:
- Auto insurance
- Business insurance
- Health and life insurance
- Property and casualty insurance and risk-management solutions
- Business succession and planning
Also through this program, NAEDA has dedicated loss control specialists, in the United States and Canada, who work
with dealers on programs to reduce business losses and are regular contributors to NAEDA Equipment Dealer magazine.
With effective loss control programs, dealers will realize lower insurance premiums and more profit for their
dealerships.
Note: Property and casualty insurance from Federated Insurance Company-US and Federated Insurance-Canada is
recommended by the North American Equipment Dealers Association.
