A hearing has been scheduled for HB 2475, an ag-specific Right to Repair bill sponsored by Rep. Barry Hovis. The hearing will take place on March 26th at noon in the House Special Committee on Innovation and Technology.
This is the same bill and bill sponsor we have opposed and defeated the last several years. The bill was introduced in January and is now receiving a hearing in a brand-new committee that was created this year to look at technology topics. That means we have a new set of committee members who are not familiar with this issue.
Missouri only allows in-person testimony or written testimony to be submitted. NAEDA will be testifying at the hearing. If you would like to testify in person, please contact me directly.
