House Bill 2535, a Right to Repair bill introduced on August 15th, has been scheduled for a committee hearing tomorrow, October 1st, 2024.
As NAEDAÂ previously stated, we assess that this bill is unlikely to threaten dealers’ businesses. In its current form, it contains exemption language that will not place any new mandates on equipment dealers or manufacturers.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. EDT. A link to watch a live stream of the hearing can be found here.
