On Tuesday, April 25th, Colorado’s Governor signed into law the Right to Repair legislation that was passed in their current legislative session. This is the first Right to Repair Bill in the country that includes agricultural equipment. This bill DOES NOT take effect until January 1, 2024.
NAEDA is reviewing the language of the bill and the various ways this bill will impact our dealer members in Colorado. We are also evaluating what the passage of this bill will have on future Right to Repair legislation in other states. We will have additional information out to our NAEDA members very soon regarding this legislation.
We will continue to work with our coalition partners to address the Colorado legislation as well as any other legislation that has a negative impact to our members’ businesses.
